is beautiful. It is in very good condition, but we were
not allowed to take pictures inside. This is the house
from the parking lot. You all need to watch "Out of
Africa" again!...for the music if nothing else!! Her
Estate is only about a 30 min. drive from out flat.
She did a lot of good for the people here, especially
in the education of the children. The whole area around
her estate is called "Karen", and there are numerous
Hospitals, schools and businesses named after her.

JEALOUS!! I read the book...AND saw the movie. I loved the fact that she wanted "her children" educated....the movie spent a little too much time focused on the romantic side of her life....oh well....you gotta sell what the people want, eh? Love you guys!!
