Elder Matwale (he and his wife are the first Stake missionaries called in Kenya!!!)..he helps LDS Charities.  He is another one of our favorite people.  He has a great sence of humor.  The girl just filled her bucket with good fresh water!  How much do you think that weighs!!  They do this from the time they are little girls.  It is amazing to watch the little ones carry water.  They are strong little tykes!!
The church built this concrete structure and made this spring water accessible to the people.  Before this was done they had to go down to the river and get polluted water.
Little observers!
Dad flew up to Kakamega with Elder Harris (LDS Charities) to attend a water project handover.  Kakamega is North West of Nairobi.  They flew back the same day.
They always have a big party after the handover.  We actually have dad on video...(again when we get home), but this is a great "still" of him joining the dancers!!
Dad in Kakamega at water handover.  Dad is the one on the far left!
We went without furniture for about a week and a half!.  But we got new, so it was worth it!  They opened up a new Young Elder flat, and they needed furniture.  Our flat apparently had the oldest furniture, so we were in line for new!!  The elders loved our old stuff, and we of course loved the new stuff!!!
